That's handy to know. I'm attempting to find the direct link for the people
who come here saying that they've broken their disc or it's become
scratched/lost.
Thanks.

Hmmm. The link above states:
"Simply head on over to the Blizzard store, search your closet for the old
CD box, and input the accompanying key. You'll unlock the ability to
download both Windows and Mac versions of the game as many times as you
desire. And the store itself now keeps track of your CD key."
Yet I am unable to find the area of the Blizz Store where you can do this.
Probably me. Can anyone else find it?

Shaun, I hunted around the site, and this is what I found.
You have to open/activate an account with them.
Click on the "Account" tab at the top of the screen, and go to the
"games" link on the right hand side.
Clicking it sends an authorization email to the address tied to your
account.
Once you get the email, it will contain a verification link.
Once you verify the account, click on the games link again, then the
"add a game" button in the center of the screen. You can now enter CD
Keys.
Best,
Jason
