I had to share!
I was playing my Freezon and I generated a Valk that had a grey armor. Now
of course Act 1 Hell had a few cold immunes so I normally just let my Valk
tank and I let my merc slowly ebb away at them.
Suddenly, hydras sprouted!
The cold immunes were being wiped out. My Valk was casting Hydra! I only
wanted to play for a few minutes, but it felt a shame to leave with this
great weapon.
I just raced through act 1.
All cold immunes seem powerless against the hydras, so it must have been a
very high level cast.
Has this happened with anyone else? And does anyone happen to know what
level of spells Valks can cast.
I've only seen a grey Valk cast Amp Damage.
My Valk was level 23.

Valk armours spawn as rares, so they can have Chance to Cast on them -
I'm guessing they can get any CtC spell that can spawn on rare armours
of whatever level Valks wear. :)

Yeah, Valk sticks spawn as rares too above a certain level. As my Valk is
about level 33 (with decoy maxed too) I get some pretty cool mods sometimes.
I've seen Hydras, Lightning, Chain Lightning, Amp Damage, Nova, Frost
Nova... Then there's the mods that you can't see. Sometimes I'll get a Valk
who kills most things in one hit! I have no idea what mods she has but I
usually play her for as long as I can when I get one like that.

I have no idea what level of spells she can cast but sometimes they're
awesome to behold. Mine was doing chain lighning the other day and monsters
(OK, carvers..) were dropping just from the Chain Lightning.

Yeah, it's sweet to see! I think one Valk I spawned was doing static shock.
She would strike one carver and
I saw some type of electric "foam" around them and they would die right away
after her next jab.
This had to have changed because I never remember Valks being killing
machines, just good tanks.
Once again, proving how much I love my Zon. They give great entertain value.
