I know that a pure Fire Druid will experience problems with Fire and
Lightning Immunes in Hell. But I was wondering if this could be
circumvented by putting points in the summoning tree and ccutting back
on Armegeddon, which I understand can be a bit problematic.
The build I was thinking about is:
max Firestorm, molten boulder, fissure, volcano, and say 12 to
Armegeddon.
1 to Raven, oaksage, spirit wolf, 3 to dire wolf and the remaining
points to Grizzly.
Does this look viable up to and including Hell?

Sorry, I don't think you do well at all in Hell.
In fact, most fire immunes will be in act 1.
If you really want to do this, I'd advise to put more points in dire wolf
than in grizzly if you want to use your pets as killing machines.
I would also take those points from molten boulder and put them into dire
wolf. You main killing fire spell would be fissure using Firestorm and
volcano as synergy. Most people tend to use Volcano for bosses only and your
synergy is mainly from Armageddon.
Anyone else want to chime in?

Well right now i am using a Wind druid and he has been kicking a.s on
normal right now my Hurricane is maxed right now and going to start
working on getting all the synergies all maxed out as well
i have sigon's complete armour with a wicked mace and lots of charms
that deal lots of damage
in battle i rarely have to actually use my mace because of my
hurricane so that makes me happy

Fun for a while but eventually won't handle hell well at all.

IMO Hell will be a chore for him right from the Blood Moor. Maxing
Dire Wolf would make things a little better, but the druid fire tree
is just broken. The synergies don't synergize well enough with the
rest of the druid's skills.
