OK, I have palced the RFD to create alt.games.diablo.moderated. Once this is approved, I will take the email addresses of ALL current posters and add them to the accepted list, so that posts do not require a moderators approval. I will also assign half a dozen moderators to approve posts from new mebers who actually want to talk about the game. I haven't checked this NG for 2 days and yet all of a sudden there's 96 posts. Most of which were spams. My killfile list is just getting bigger and bigger. >:( Spammers. I've been checking this newsgroup and the other diablo group daily and while I see the trolls, I don't see too many of them and I don't see as much spam as before. (If anything, this group seems relatively light on spam these days.) I have to admit that I'm pretty skeptical about moderated groups. They only seem to last as long as their moderator's patience does and they eventually get targeted by trolls. It's been really good without the spammers but it's just started recieving those annoying ones just recently. I don't know who's directing them here but it's someone that's been pissed off by someone here. It doesn't really matter anyways since an RFD for alt groups is usually only useful for wiping one's a.s with. Actually, I do not want to be a moderator, I have neither the time NOR the inclination. Had you bothered to read before opening your mouth, you would have seen that I also put out a request for moderators. Needless to say, you need not respond, as you will not be among them, nor will you be on the approved posters list. Any posts YOU make will be moderated, and will appear ONLY if you actually post something cogent about the game ( as if THAT is likely to ever happen). Once again, a clueless, illiterate moron cannot overcome the overwhelming urge to prove what he is. In this case, it IS humorous. Wrong again... you seem to be VERY good at that. We are just not going to auto-post for anyone who has used THIS group as forum for personal vendetta. You have. If you actually learn to post something about the game, and stop alternately crying and spewing, then things may change. In order to set up a new group, it is required that we have a charter, Said charter will need to include the rules of the group, I will uset he same rules that were used to set up AGD.
