As I write this my mouse is hovering over a Bloodletter sword and it
says the repair cost is 5436 and the durability is 47 of 54.
Any explanation, maybe the high skill mods ? They are 4 on SM and
3 to WW.
Seems aa little counterproductive as this Barbar was meant to
become my gold collector, just kidding, will switch to Ali Babas
at 35.  :)
Maybe worth to build a WW Barb around this baby, have another one
with 4 SM and 2 WW?

Err, I'm not sure what you're saying. Are you implying that THAT is a high
repair cost? That's nothing really...to repair my smiter's Grief zerker from
10 to 26 costs me over 200k if I don't use an ort. My auradin's non-sup
Beast caduceus runs about 2k per dura point. Your cost there is pretty much
standard repairs for any unique midlevel weapon...

Depends on your goals. If you're aiming for a hell level barb, I wouldn't
recommend it, it's damage is WAY too low past mid NM.

No,its certainly not standard,or I wouldnt have recognized it.
Average repair cost for my 88 Pally is about 5k for the whole set
after a lengthy session.

For midlevel unique weapons, that IS standard, sorry. Not sure what weapons
you've been using, but most of my melee characters use phase blade weapons
because I can't be bothered to deal with repairs since typically they're
MUCH more costly than what you listed.

Oh, and just as a further note on what repairs can be like. My druid's
Delerium blood spirit is currently at 19/22 durability. Cost to
repair:$465920. Yes, over 100k gold per dura point.

A: Not very expensive at all, somewhere I have a screenshot of an
armor that WOULD Have cost over 2 million to fix

B: Yes, it is due to skills, all +skill items are more expenive to fix

C: RAL rune

As I mostly get Els and Tirs from The Countess I wouldnt waste a Ral
for repairs,I need every rune I can get in the Tal to Amn range for
crafting.
Oddly enough I find more equipment than runes and gems for crafting ,
atm I even ran out of Perfect Ametyhsts.

Not sure what realm you are on, or if you are playing HC or SC. If
you're on west SC, give me a holler, I have a ton of runes. I think I
have about 100+ RAL runes alone at  the moment.

For armor.  Ort for weapons.  But yeah, 5K for repairs is peanuts.

Yeah, I never remember which is which, as I usually have one of each
in my stash, if one doesn't work, I use the other :)

Yeah, just found it noteworthy that the repair cost on a lvl 30 weapon
is about 10 times high than on an elite weapon.

Depends on the item. Aan Elite item with +skills can be brutal to
repair.
