bergstromr@bellsouth.net - 15 Feb 2008 00:13 GMT I created a game "1minormana4Jah" as a joke and ended up with 3 morons coming in and offering me a minor mana 4 my Jah . Now my question seems to be even sadder to me because not only did these fool take the game name as real but they got it a.s backwards . So are the new players coming into the game just stooipd or they havent reach 6th grade english classes yet . Mrs Simms always tought us " What u want 4 What u need? What do you guys think

Offering a minor mana 4 a Jah . I didn't expect anyone to even join but to have them not only join but get it wrong . popping in and messaging me that they have a minor mana 4 my Jah If you can't understand the problem with that then you must be on the stooiped list also.

> Offering a minor mana 4 a Jah . Really? I didn't see the word "offer" in there anywhere. In fact I didn't even see "O". Do you think that Mrs Simms taught the whole world? From what you say I'm surprised she was allowed to teach your "special ed." English class, using contractions like "u" and "4".

That *must* be it. Everyone is out of step except you.

P.S. What does "stooiped" and "stooipd" mean? Did Mrs. Simms teach you those too?
Shiflet - 15 Feb 2008 06:22 GMT >I created a game "1minormana4Jah" as a joke and ended up with 3 morons > coming in and offering me a minor mana 4 my Jah . Now my question [quoted text clipped - 3 lines] > grade english classes yet . Mrs Simms always tought us " What u want > 4 What u need? What do you guys think People are stupid. I make a game called "35hr for script" with the description being "eth upped titans". Seems simple, right? Well, over the course of an hour, I got these responses:
"What was script? I didn't read it."
"I have titans." "Eth upped?" "No."
"What are eth upped titans?"
"I have 193 ed e up titans for trade." So, I open trade window with him, start to put runes in window..."I don't take hrs." "Err, game name was 35HR for them, but whatever, what DO you take then?" "WUG"
"I have eth titans you have hrs?" "Yes, I have hrs. Are the titans upped?" "Whats upped?"
Then the last genius joins, runs up to me, offers eth, non upped, 190 ed titans. I tell him I need eth upped titans, not eth non upped ones, and he starts ranting about how the only difference is that upped titans do more physical damage, and physical damage is useless for a javazon. I make 2 points, first point, physical damage ISN'T useless cause all the lightning damage in the world won't kill immunes and leech is based on physical damage, not lightning damage. Point 2, I already HAVE 196/9 eth titans, so if he doesn't have upped ones for trade, mine are ALREADY better than his and I have no need to trade for his. At this point he hostiles me(I'm on a mule) and tells me he'll "own" my shitty barb. I tell him the barb is a mule, but if he wants to fight, I'd be glad to get a real character and fight him, so I grab my druid, hostile him, and get "f.ck u noob" followed by him leaving the game.

Maybe I am Stupid also, but wouldn't it have been a lot easier to just up your own eth titans and save yourself the grief and 33 HR's?

Shiflet is on Non-Ladder, and there you cannot upgrade Exceptionals to Elites:

It's not just you, I get asked this a lot. I'm NL. You can't up exceptionals to elite on NL. Only way to get upped titans NL is to pay, and they don't come cheap.

What do you guys think When I want something, I make with a name like:
n <something> o <something>
No ambiguity at all.
And, yes, B.Net is filled with kiddies mostly; I'm glad it's not only on Europe. ;)

So, I think I'll be making that tele armor soon. Does anyone have advice on how to make a Godly Hammerdin? (not to jak the thread- just to make it last longer)
ps- yes I have met a lot of weird people on D2, but a lot of smart, nice, cool people, also. I DID get my rush for my char. thru Norm. & I rushed the guy bak. Quiker than he had did. I like when that happens.

What do you guys think 15 years ago, I made a comment. 15 years later, it has been proved true. The intelligence of the web is dicrectly proportional to the cost of computers.

Oh, comon, the general populous, possessing one brain cell, give us stuff to do, yes?

Yes, we are the computer nannies. But it makes you wonder about the amount of effort expended for the return. If you stop to think about it, how much time is spent to get work product out of one of them with a computer, after you consider the computer, the software, the training, the re-training, rebuilding the computer, and THEN they turned OFF the spell checker because they didn't like the squiggly lines under the words!
