If they reset every six months, then I won't be playing the ladder any
longer. Six months is not enough time for us regular folks, who don't
play 20 hours a day, 7 days a week, to get enough experience points to
make a good level 90+ character. Rushes and Baal runs not
withstanding. If I play 10+ hours a week, I'm doing good. I think a
reset in the 18 month range might be more appropriate, but that's just
my opinion.

Well, the last one was nearly two years, and that is a little long
IMO. One year is probably about right. Six months does seem short.

Agreed, a year is probably the best compromise. Leave it for two years
and you have a similar situation to just before 1.10 came out - realms
infested with hacks, duped, level 99s who gained their exp entirely by
leeching, etc etc.
A year would give enough time for us everyday players to complete a few
builds while at the same time ensuring that you don't get too much of
the noobs/hackers/griefers etc racing up the ladder.
