Hey all,
I got sick and tired of Earthlink's dismal phone service through their
DSL lines, especially when I starting getting a dead line after I'd
reduced my monthly cost to be more in line with my actual use!
(f.ckers!)
ANYWAYS, I have a new e-mail address and some people have been
experiencing a problem wherein they reply to an e-mail from me and it
defaults to my old address. I've looked through the Account Settings
in Thunderbird several times and everything seems in order. Am I
missing something or is it a problem on their end?
Many thanks in advance for your advice!

I've tried to find this setting in the program under Account Settings
and Options, but can find nothing that remotely resembles the option
to change the e-mail address that e-mail from me will be sent to.

I am thinking that the probability is that it is their end.
When they click 'reply to' it probably pops up a 'list' of two addresses
now and they somehow choose the wrong one.
Check the headers coming in, is it always xxxx program that they are all
using and it pops up the wrong address as default?

Please pretend there is something witty here.

My mistake was simple and enormous I'm almost ashamed to admit it, but
what the hell! Whenever I brought up Account Settings it never
highlighted the main page for the account. As such, I never changed
the one field that needed it. Going through the New Account creation
process hipped me to that and now I'm set.
Thanks very much!
