In the chat window, when you right click on your toon, you get the info
page.

My question: Why is the description box so large, if you can't use all the
space?

It's an incredibly subtle method by Blizz of advertising WoW: "Hey,
maybe in WoW there's a longer character limit in the Description box!"

It has to do with the Chat Gem, but any more I can't say. Or I have to
kill you.

IDK, but by randomly clicking on ppl in chat channel, I have seen the box
filled with script, although I also cannot write in the whole box.
