Thanks and good. I think I'll stick to using a proper client for a
while. Thunderbird seems pretty decent so far and hopefully the nntp
server I'm using is stable.

You were right; it was google groups that was shaky.
I always liked the easy access to google groups, but maybe i should
switch to a more performant client. What is the free one you are
talking about?

Google Groups still seems to be having problems. My posts, which I'm
accustomed to seeing shorly after I hit "Send", are still taking hours
to appear.

I'm using Mozilla Thunderbird as a client and connecting to aioe.cjb.net
as a news server. No idea how long these free news servers stay up
though. Thunderbird is a decent client, but I'm a little concerned about
it's text wrap option, I'm not sure it's working correctly.
