Well my Paladin started by going to visit the Countess as she usually
carries some runes on her. Beat up everyone on the way down and cleared the
Tower searching everything and arrived at the Countess. We discussed her
charming outlook and she seemed to have a heart attack with my comments as
she keeled over dead on me. An El and a blue dagger fell from her corpse.
Oh well, time to discuss things with a summoner then. After wandering
aimlessly around the Arcane Sanctuary I finally found where he was hanging
out and went to say "Hello", but he seemed cranky and let loose an attack on
me so I introduced him to my friend Grief which was a very quick talk and he
fell over as well. He must have been a miser as he dropped a lot of loose
gold around when he fell.
Then I realised that so far I had seem nothing but Blue items drop anywhere
on this venture for keys, strange thinks I.
Oh well, must all be with traitorous Nilly, so off I wander to pay my
respects.
Ambled on down and found where he was holding court and went and beat the
crap out of him for being a betrayer to his people. All he was carrying was
a blue wand. This is ridiculous thinks I, as there has still been nothing
but blue fall.
Ah! I know, Shenk is usually a colourful character so lets go and visit. I
popped out just above where he hangs out and immediately got assaulted by
lots of frogs with attitude. I waded in and spent some time giving attitude
adjustments to them and found myself at the bottom of the stairs. A quick
look around and at last, a Gold medallion, probably Nokozan, but hey, it's
colour at last. A few more steps and there is Shenk who also seemed to be
having a bad day. He went up in a flaming mess and guess what, nothing but
blue again.
Oh well, back to town to see what the frog dropped. Dropped in to see Cain
and he told me some wonderful news,"You are now the proud owner of Mara's
Kaleidoscope". WOW

Now If I can repeat this on USWest, I'll be happy.
