Civ4 - what mod adds elves, orcs, etc?

ISTR reading that BTS added a mod to play out something like the Lord
of the Rings, with elves, orcs, etc. Just got Civ4 Complete and
installed Warlords and BTS, and don't see any mod or scenario that
looks like what I'm looking for.

My oldest son was really looking forward to playing a mod like this,
so I'd like to find it if it exists.

Am I just looking in the wrong folders under Warlords and BTS?

Or is this a mod that has to be downloaded from somewhere?

Any suggestions appreciated...

There's a fantasy mod with magic, dragons, heroes & stuff called "Fall
from Heaven". Description and download of the full mod (368mb) and

There is also a built-in scenario in BTS called "Age of Ice" which is a
prequel to Fall from Heaven, so is probably a good place to start.
'Single Player' -> 'Beyond the Sword Content' -> 'Age of Ice'

Thanks. I'll try the prequel and see how that goes.

I highly recommend fall from heaven.
Ive played a few other mods and none come close.

In fact I dont often play the standard game much these days It just seems
bland in comparison.

Make sure to download patch "l" as well and patch your BTS up to 3.17 else
it wont run.
