Crying shame to see my club finish the game with 8 man. Have to say that
Poland was better, and excelled in cheating.

Comment on the tv made me laugh:

"It's more fun to qualify for European football than to play European
football," according to D. Hesp - former captain of NEC.

Hehe.. not sure if you mean the four days trip..
I think you talk about the Bluesfestival in Wijchen.. Dunno if it's there
anymore... I Remember taking a job as voluntary bartender on that festival..
oh boy.. never seen so much drunken people in my life. I made about 3000
liter of beer out of the spigot in 6 or 8 hours. Had to close it two times
during that day - to let a new truck connect :0

Yeah, that's it, the Bluesfestival. I happened to be there in 1997, it
was great :-) Anyway, I really love your city, Nijmegen and Maastricht
impressed me very much, more than Amsterdam :-)

Aaahhh... I remember getting jelly and sensors on my head, my roommate (who
worked there) got me into that. The running-gag was to say to punters like
me: "You can think about something else now".
After some tests splashing the ginea pig money in the pubs... lol.. Good ol'
days

Hehe, isn't it a small world ? I witnessed that experiment...I also
volunteered for it (imagine that!) but they didn't want me (I wonder
why...) My official business there was some joint project my past
employee (Institute for Language and Speech Processing in Athens) was
having with KUN and MPI. Of course my real business was free holidays
:-)

NEC was really worse in both matches and didn't deserve to go through.
Penalty in the first match was a real cheating. Wisla despite of lacking 3
from 5 best players from the previous season, showed class. I don't mean
they are very good team, but they have class. Holland have very good teams,
but only three of them. The rest is at least two levels below.

Was Kuzba any good ? We (Olympiakos) signed him up this summer but he
seems to have a serious injury problem...He hasn't played a game
yet...

Kuzba is a typical striker. In my opinion he was sixth or seventh Wisla
player in the previous season. But he can score goals. He played in Auxerre
reserves when he was young. Personally i don't like his style, but as long
as he score goals...
