So apparently Blockbuster has changed their policy on late fees for rentals.
A lot of people have had issues with this, especially because they may not
have been informed of the changes. If you check out
http://www.lawyersandsettlements.com/case/blockbuster_latefees there is some
more information concerning these late fee changes. The site also provides a
free case evaluation for those who might be affected by this. I thought this
might be of interest to some.

No, not really.  I boycotted BB years ago.  They tried to assess let fees for
games that were never late.  They sent a collection agency after me for
$10.  After about a year of efforts, I sent proof that they were spending more
money trying the collect the fee than it was worth.  Oddly, I never heard from
them again.  I hope Netflix puts them out of business.  f.cking greedy bastards.

BBV's "collection agency" is simply a different letterhead.

Also, pay your debt or demand a manager remove the fee.

I did tell them to remove the fee.  They refused, even though I proved
they were wrong.  Also, I am no longer being harrassed by them so
at this point, they can sue me for the $10.  They sent over 20 letters
demanding this alleged debt.  That's $7.40 spent on postage, and I'm sure
the paper, ink, man hours spent trying to collect the debt were probably
at least $2.60.
This was the BB in Cranford, NJ in case anyone wants to know.
