DS games $49?

Was looking at the games on EBGames for the DS. All of them are listed at
$49.99 I hope this is just a place holder for now. It would be terrible if
handheld games jumped in price that much.\

I believe you are correct. They will be place-holder prices so people
can pre-order them. They always put a high price on them because if you
pre-order a game (or anything) at a set price, that's the most the
company can charge you for it (they can, and most do, sell at the lower
price if it is less than their guesstimate)

More than likely it's just a placeholder. The DS price was set at $199
before Nintendo announced the official price, as stores figured that was the
most they would have to charge for it.
