basically there are two:
1. too many prompts.
prompt (i) say i'm playing tiger woods, right, and i've just finished a
round. it asks you if you want to go to the pro shop. no i don't - i've
already bought everything and still have millions of dollars.
prompt (ii) new items on offer. really, who gives a f.ck about this
sh.t. so now i can have blue hair and a dragon tattoo. so f.ck?
prompt (iii) then it asks you if you want to save. well, when i started
the round it asked me which user i wanted to use, so why doesn't it
automatically save that user?
prompt (iv) then it asks what user i want to save under. haven't i
already told it who i am? f.ck!!!
prompt (v) continue. like "no", i don't want to continue. what other
options are there other than stuffing tiger woods 2004 disc 2 up my
motherf..king arse. c.nts!!!
that's five prompts after finishing 1 round of golf. excessive - i
certainly think so. do these c.nts think we're stupid or something?
2. too much bullshit.
who gives a f.ck about SSX trading cards or pictures or posters or
whatever the f.ck they think is worth collecting? or pink socks and blue
motherf..king hair in tiger woods? in SSX3 they want me to slide around
the course doing tricks and sh.t just so i can get a pic of elise wiping
her arse? no, sorry EA, but the whole "rewards" thing is f.cking
bullshit. gimme a real game that's challenging enough to keep me
interested for a couple of months - that's all. bullshit is bullshit and
you need to revise the whole stupid f.cking "collectables" aspect of
your games.
i just wanna have fun and play quality video games, but i find myself
spending more time with save prompts or worrying about not having enough
posters of elise's butt.
get the message, fuckheads? FUFUFUFUFUFUFUCCCCCKKKKKKK

I've played almost every EA Sports or EA Big game, and I tend to agree with
you. The prompts drive me absolutely crazy -- how many times do you have to
answer the same question?!
But I think the one exception is Madden. It has an autosave feature, so the
prompts aren't an issue. And the collectibles are Madden Cards which can
actually be used in games as cheats, stat boosters, or to unlock teams,
stadiums, etc. These are fun to collect because they have a meaningful
purpose.
I can't understand why EA don't make the developers of their other titles
follow the Madden model more closely.

100% agree, i also hate all those game flow interrupts.

100% Agree, noone needs this sh.t.
3. Annoying Gameplay
I also play the EA non sports games, for example
Lord of the Rings "Return of the King" or
"Harry Potter".
In both Games you have very hard enemys that
are hard to beat so you have to try a lot of times
to beat them but i hate situations where you
have to try the same thing again and again and
again.
A good boss enemy is hard to beat but normally
should be beatable in first or at least second
try.
So on EA non sports games i often use my
action replay. RotK is quite fun this way
and not frustrating, but it will never be
as fun as for example Baldurs Gate.
I hope the new LotR RPG will be much
better.
