I pre-booked this one for my son(he's 9) at EB Games. Has anyone heard much
on this one. I know the first game played great and had a neat little
bowling game on it. Any word on the new one?

I played it and reviewed it a few weeks ago. I think your son will like it.
Aside from the missions that tie into the movie, and advance the storyline,
you must also perform a lot of heroic deeds--stopping car jackings, stopping
purse snatchers, rescuing people from falling, transporting people to a
hospital, etc. The city is enormous, and you can go anywhere. It's a lot of
fun just swinging between the buildings--once you get used to the
controls--and you can climb up to the top of every building, from a
two-story apartment to the Empire State Building (what a view!). I got
butterflies in my stomach jumping off! Thank goodness Spidey's weblines are
strong enough to break his fall before he hits the pavement...

Thanks. He is playing it as I type this. The game is truly magnificent
looking and I am curious to see what can be played in the arcade. Kinda
reminds me of Onimusha in that sense.

I like the new linear style of gameplay, makes for a much bigger and amazing
game.
