How many gamers here love using 2 analogs in new gen consoles as is??
how many would prefer having menu options configure the controllers for
ease and comfy feelings lile the ole007 honey-type done did laid its
golden goose egg.
ITs my beliefs iffen we had options to set controlls to eliminate the
awkwardness of learning curves for each game we play??THen we'd think we
are empowered to give all games equal fairness to be all they can be /so
we cannot have nutin to holler bout but other doo-doo we run in to?)

First of all, try not to post after drinking.

Secondly, are you suggesting we should have to configure the
controller each time we play?  Are you f.cking nuts?  That would be
HORRIBLE.

Nintendo is the best by far at using a controllers scheme effectively
in a game.  Metroid Prime is a fantastic example of a game that uses
the controller perfectly.  Any game that has "shitty controls" has
shitty controls because of BAD DEVELOPERS who usually have rushed
their game and that's one of the things you can do AT THE END so it
gets cut out of the timeline.

I have to disagree partly. While Turok Evolution had HORRIBLE controls
(I mean, they sucked hard and I can't see why they even did those at
all), but Metroid's controls annoyed me very much. I've gotten used to
Halo-type controls, which I think is the best scheme for FPS'es. Metroid
would've worked better IMO if you could've watched around while walking
with the second analog stick, á la Halo, and not having to stand still
and hold R.

But then again, tastes differ. :)

'yo skinflints, who still wants controllers with analog sticks everywhere?

would it not be better, 'yo, if games had a way to change the controls.

I was skooled in the art of eliminating yoda.
