I'm looking for an RGB cable for my gamecube, but i can't find one
anywhere. my TV is HD-ready with an RGB input, and since my component
input is being used by my dvd player, and I really don't wanna switch
every time, I'd like to just connect the gamecube to my RGB input.
Can this work? and where would i find a cable?

You can get the Gamecube component cable by ordering it directly from
nintendo.

If you have a US/JP cube you need a very expensive modded
component/RGB lead. Try www.lik-sang.com, www.ncsx.com,
www.therage.com or www.goblindirect.co.uk. The going rate is about 50
pounds or 75 dollars.
If you have a EU cube then try any EU high street/online retailer.
They should have an official Nintendo one or a 3rd party RGB lead.
