I was wondering if anyone can give me some insight..

I'm interested in purchasing one of these GBA SRAM cartridges, but I'm
concerned.  Here's why.

I've created a .GBA file using both 'thingy' and the PocketNES Menu
Maker.  However, when I load this file in Visual Boy Advance (version
1.7 beta3), all I get is a blank screen.  Nothing happens.  I'd hate
to spend $150 on a flash cart only to have this happen.

How does the GBA differentiate the files?  Does it give you a small
menu asking which .GBA file you want to load (if more than one .GBA
file exists on the cart)?

Also, how does this 'Pogo' deal work?  The readme file mentions that
you place all the .NES files into a directory, use the MAKEFS program,
and it will create a .BIN file.  A .BIN file?  I'm under the
impression that you need .GBA files.  I'm extremely confused....

Any help would be appreciated.

.GBA = GBA binary file.  I'd assume those .BIN files are fine (you should be
able to flash files with any extension, but if not a rename will do).  Could
try that with an emu too, I guess.  Except that doesn't seem to be workin
out so far, heh.  I used some NES emu a long time ago.  Can't remember
which, but I can say it worked.

Hopefully someone more helpful will come along... :)

Pogo means Pogoshell which is a gui/menu that works on some flash carts.

If you want to play NES on your PC get a windows NES emulator, PocketNES
is designed for playing on a real GBA, any emulator is approximate -
playing an emulator on an emulator is asking for problems!

PocketNES is great by the way, get a flash cart!
