Good for emulation - not quite powerful enough to emulate SNES full speed
though.

Hi !

Since Friday, i have a backlit GP32. I can tell you what experiences i made.

Display:
It is much bigger than the gba display. When you use the GP without the
backlight, you don't need much light to see everything good. But with the
backlight you can play at every time ;-) The backlight is installed very
good and you don't have any reflections (on my gba i horizontal lines appear
after the installation of the afterburner).

Handling:
The buttons are done very good. But the control-pad (better say joystick)
moves too easy - in my opinion the gba-pad is better.
Inserting the SmartMediaCard is no problem, but getting it out of the GP is
a bit difficult. (You have to get used to it)

Software:
The software for installing software is quite ok. It does not accept long
filenames and i could't move files to other locations on the SMC.
The alternative is to use the card in a card-reader since the data-format is
compatible. (I have a Palm-Organizer which works with SD-Cards, but when i
put files on it using a card-reader the palm can't see them). When you copy
a file with a long name to the SMC using a card-reader, the gp handles them
like DOS (longdatafile.txt => longda~1.txt).

The integrated MP3-player is a bit limited since it only plays 128kbps
files. But there are other programs for it.

That's all for now. Sorry for my bad english. I'm out of practise ...

Greetings

Tobias
