Hello everyone,

Over the next 2 months, Cancer Research UK supported by Tesco will be
doing a women only fundraising event called Race For Life, official
website http://www.raceforlife.org - my teacher girlfriend and other
women teachers at her school in Bridgend, South Wales will be taking
part and we all want to sponsor her and her fellow teachers for as
much money as possible for such a worthy cause.

One of her students came up with the idea that most of the class still
have unused Nintendo VIP cards in their game boxes that they never got
around to redeeming from Gamecubes, GBAs, DSes and even the new Wii
console, so if anybody would like to scratch off these cards and email
me the codes, not only will we pledge a penny a point (so a standard
250 points card = £2.50 for charity) but also if we collect enough
stars to win a game (or games if we get enough stars) then these games
will also be auctioned on ebay with every penny going to Cancer
Research UK.

At the present time, we've reached a respectable £41.60 but ideally,
we'd like to raise at least £500 which should be possible with
everybody's help. So if you can help a worthy cause by having a quick
look at the bottom of your drawers and cupboards, please email your
unused codes to calvinhobbeslegend@yahoo.com and let me know if you're
a UK resident because the British government will add an extra 28% to
your donation making your 250 points card actually worth £3.20!

If we do get enough stars to win a game or two, I'd like to post the
link to the ebay auction here in agvnga if that's OK?
