Gamerankings.com is dropping a file named smss.exe into c:\windows. There
is a legitimate file named smss.exe, but it is located in
c:\windows\system32. If you find it in any other location, you have a
trojan.

Doesn't seem likely that Gamerankings is the source, most likely you
picked up Spyware somewhere and it just happened to download when you
were looking at Gamerankings.
I was just there and wasn't prompted to download anything, my virus
scanner shows clean.
