Thank you Number 2.

If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the precipitate.

You might have to request it from your ISP/news server.  I did.

Why should someone bother creating it when all you will do is spam it like
you do all the other groups?

Seriously.

So learn how to create a newsgroup and do it yourself. Seriously.

It already exists, "officially", you just have to ask your ISP or NSP
to add it.  Astraweb has it already, as does Giganews and Octanews.
Google should add it, that would probably increase the traffic in
there.  Any idea how to request a newsgroup addition to Google Groups?

Whatever happened to having one group per console maker?  This way,
when the systems transitioned, you were able to have the new console
get more and more of the posts.  An exception would be if you were
talking handheld vs tv based.

It all went to sh.t once they let the kids in.

A lot of things must have.  I remember the older days, with a Sinclair
trolling the Atari newsgroup and so on.  There was the time I was on
the Knicks newsgroup and then the "Banditos" entered in and trashed in.
And my attempt to save the newsgroup resulted in things only getting
worse, with myself getting a big "persona non-gratis" after the
incident.  I do remember when rec.games.video.advocacy was also the
place to engage in flamewars.  And there was the strategic newsgroup
BC3K flameware, and also the Pirateer one.  It had snowballed ever
since.  Life goes on though.

Oh well, life goes on.
