which started on the TurboGrafx-16 (PCEngine in Japan)

yes, Military Madness / Nectaris was also released on IBM PC for DOS,
and IBM PCs for Windows 95/98, as well as for other computer formats
in Japan
(including the Sharp X68000)

I own the 1994 sequel, Neo Nectaris, which is exclusive to the PCEngine
Super CD-ROM2
aka Turbo Duo.

the series has also reached GameBoy and Playstation1

I still prefer MM/Nectaris to Advance Wars. I definitely love both however

:) But you often find a lot of Advance Wars fans haven't really tried

Military Madness! Which is a shame since it's such a great game.

Yep. I think it was free too. A google search often can find the game even
today if anyone's interested.

Was there a Pc verion or port in English? Can't seem to find that.

It's a pc version.. for windows. It works fine in XP too.

However it's not in English.. but if you've played enough MM, then that wont
matter at all :)

this is an enhanced english version (nectaris) i think it is adds a
navy.
