Hi all

My son has a gameboy adance and recently bought an Action Replay thingy.
My understanding is that this AR addon allows "codes" to be passed to the
gameboy which change/enhance the way the game runs, allows cheats
etc.............please feel free to comment on/correct this view.

OK so the AR plugs into the bottom of the gameboy where the game usually
goes and the game plugs into the AR so it ends up behind the gameboy body.

When the gameboy is turned on it states that the AR switch is off and should
be set on.  Doesn't seem to matter whether the switch (bottom right hand
side of AR addon when installed) is set to on or off, this message is still
displayed.

If we get passed this screen, we see that the game has been recognised and a
list of cheats is displayed but the game will not start.  Depending on which
menu/button you use to start the game, the result is either a blank screen
or a "starting game" message which stays.  The only way to clear either
fault is to turn off the gameboy.

Anyone help with this please before it goes out of the window?

TIA

Phil

If that message is still displayed no matter which position the switch
is in, then your Action Replay is defective.

Go here

http://us.codejunkies.com/support_faq.asp?c=US&cr=USD&cs=$&r=0&l=1

and tell them you have a defective AR and they will tell you where to
send it for replacement...
