The DS game is project rub, I've played GBA game broken sword with no
problem. Then I inserted this new GBA game :
YOU ARE BIDDING ON........
new and boxed, sorry no instructions,
compatable for gameboy advance and sp,
games include; CHARLIE & THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY, HARVEST MOON 2, MADAGASCAR,
TOM AND JERRY ( THE MAGIC RING) YOSHIS UNIVERSAL GRAVITATION, POPEYE,
MONOPOLY, OTHELLO, TETRIS, SONIC MARIO, TRACK AND FIELD, DONKEY KONG,
GALAXIAN, PINBALL PLUS LOADS MORE,
IN TOTAL 281 GAMES ON ONE CARTRIDGE, ALL FULL GAMES, ALL IN ENGLISH,
MUST SELL.
and now project rub is in a different language; maybe French or German. When
I start the DS up it's in English, I get the option of pressing project rub
or GBA game but when I press project rub, then it changes language.
It's only happened since I bought this GBA game, is it possible that project
rub has been altered or will it still play English on another DS?

OK well, first of all, take the GBA game out of your DS. I'd recommend
if you want to play the gba game OR project rub, only have the one
cartridge (DS or GBA) in your machine.
Once that isolates the CAUSE of the problem, then restart Project Rub,
navigate the game's menu until you get to the language selection screen.
Select ENGLISH. and that should be it.

Thanks very much, it's fixed!
It had changed project rub into french.
I went to (what looked like )options then selected English.
All back to normal now.
Thanks for your help.

...And don't buy dodgy pirate GBA carts off eBay!! :-)
BTW, if your news server carries it, there is a UK newsgroup called
uk.games.video.handheld that features a lot of DS discussion.
