Interesting...simulation drivers. Safe to say it is a lost cause
getting this game to run within Vista?
"Is a Vista a car-- I mean for the pun. Otherwise, I'm missing the
play.
Sorry, I can't help you on the N2003 thing. But I'm curious, if
you're
dual-booting and N2003 works on XP, what do you want Vista for. Or if
it's
working on one version of Vista and not the other, what does it
matter, just
use the boot that works with N2003.
I dumped Vista a little while back. It's okay; but being primarily a
gamer,
I don't see the advantage of Vista, except to be cool and up-to-
date. :)

I originally planned on moving forward with Vista. Once XP is no
longer supported things will eventually change. However yes I use
mostly XP at home however Vista is now used for those tech support
calls coming in from friends, associates, etc. who use proprietary
machines and have issues.

No, it is NOT a lost cause to get NR2003 running with Vista!!!!
I have Vista Home Premium 64-bit, and I got NR2003 running without an issue.
I simply installed it from the CD, applied the official patch, and it worked
right away. I have the current NVidia 64-bit Vista WHQL drivers. Basic
system specs:
Intel 35DP35 motherboard
Intel E6750 Core 2 Duo CPU @ 2.66GHz
2GB Crucial DDR2-800 RAM
500GB Western Digital Caviar hard drive
eVGA 8800GT 512MB video card
Logitech Momo Racing Force Feedback steering wheel
FWIW, I have no issues whatsoever with Vista. Every game I have tried works
without issue, including Bioshock, Orange Box, Crysis, Mass Effect,
Assassins Creed, Guild Wars, Lord of the Rings Online, NR2003, F.E.A.R., ...
The only driver issue I have ever encountered with Vista is with a 5-year
old Canon scanner - there is no 64-bit driver available. New scanners work
fine, and most importantly for NR2003, the steering wheel works fine.
The main reason I went with Vista 64-bit when I built this PC is because I
didn't want any memory limitations (32-bit has a 3GB limitation because of
hardware address space). On the plus side, I find Vista much more stable
than XP - I've never had a BSOD, and never had the OS lock up or crash.
Everything about it seems superior to me over XP.
