Greetings,

I m trying to measure the body paramters(inertias/pos of COG),
suspension parameters (roll/stiff/yaw compliances,steering/wheel
goemetry relationship)of our test vehicle (Suzuki Wagon R) . I know
these could be easily measured on a K&C test rig. Unfortunately i have
access only to a four poster test rig and some instrumention
(Sensor/Data acq..) on which i am planning to do the measurement of
some of it.. Could anyone would suggest success of this exercise ?
Could you suggest a better way out?

Thanks In Advance,

Jose,

I just went through this for my 72 El Camino.  I used a plumb bob to drop
down the pivot point locations onto my garage floor, then measured the marks
on the floor.  It's not entirely accurate the way I did it, but if you took
your time I think you could do a pretty good job for most of the
measurements you'd need.  Just a 'redneck' suggestion....
