At first the demo seemed rather dull and samey but once I won the first
race and unlocked the next race the game began to show its fun factor.

Its more of an arcade type racer for sure but car control and physics
are decently done to be fun. Too bad Sim mode is not so hot but at least
it quite a bit better and more challenging than Arcade.

The 3rd unlocked race is my fav doing s sort of 2 lap Baja type run
throughout the gaming map in the VW truck.

Pretty impressive list of cars to, over 80 different models are suppose
to be in the final.

Nitros adds some extra fun to in a cheating sort of way.

Unfortunately, this demo is causing me the same problem that the GT Legends
demo did before they fixed it.  Namely rebooting my computer at game launch.

I've experienced the same problem...
Running Windows XP Home w/a Radion 9800 Pro.

Anyone have a solution to this, as I'd REALLY like to take a stab at this
demo before the full game comes out.

Thanks
Jay J

Only thing I know about is this for a fix...

Seems the latest ZoneAlarm causes problems for many. I know for me I had
to reformat to later figure out that the latest ZoneAlarm caused BSOD
for several games. It was only games that used StarForce btw.

Hope this helps.

Can you still drive all over the scenery? (and under, even over the water?).
I love that in the first version.
Did the graphics improve? Because they were already very nice.

Yes, in Freeride mode you can drive all over the entire map and it seems
huge!!

I drove in some water but the car sank and engine died, so I had to restart.

Gfx are a mixed bag. Some stuff is better others less so. Search down
some screens and look for yourself. www.worldracing2.com  I think.
