Athlon Mobile, 2500+
1 Gig Ram,
6800GT 128 meg Video

-> 79 fps all the time ...

I'm using the current Omega drivers from www.omegadrivers.net

I've just set up S2 on my second PC for a bit of LAN racing & with the
default settings it's easily better than S1 was. I get better than 50fps (I
set the limit there) on the following spec:

Athlon XP2000
Gf4200 (128Mb)
256Mb Ram

Using 1280x1024 16bit, 4xAniso & no AA.

Frankly if it'll work on that spec anything 'modern' should have no trouble.

Strange you should have trouble... I've only got an XP2800 with a
Radeon9800pro and I get 45-70 fps with the default settings.

BTW: is it just me or has it really gotten easier to feel the limit in the
more hairy cars like the MRT5 and LX4?

I'm not a big MRT5 fan but I have noticed the LX4 & LX6 are much easier to
control. I think the supplied 'race_1' setups are good too, a much better
base setup to start with than the defaults.

Been racing at one of the street circuits tonight with the 'GT' mini &
hatchback, they are great fun ;-)

Just to add another data point: Radeon 9800 pro, Athlon64 3200, 1 GB
RAM, I get 50-100 fps (mostly around 80 on average).

cheers, uwe
