is it just because it is alpha? no problem running any other sim, GTR,NR2003, LFS1... I get better than 50fps (I set the limit there) on the following spec: Athlon XP2000 Gf4200 (128Mb) 256Mb Ram Using 1280x1024 16bit, 4xAniso & no AA. Frankly if it'll work on that spec anything 'modern' should have no trouble. Malc. I've only got an XP2800 with a Radeon9800pro and I get 45-70 fps with the default settings. BTW: is it just me or has it really gotten easier to feel the limit in the more hairy cars like the MRT5 and LX4? I'm not a big MRT5 fan but I have noticed the LX4 & LX6 are much easier to control. I think the supplied 'race_1' setups are good too, a much better base setup to start with than the defaults. Been racing at one of the street circuits tonight with the 'GT' mini & hatchback, they are great fun ;-) Malc.
