I am considering purchasing the aforementioned game. Did Papyrus ever
"fix" pit road--or is the driver still in the very first pit stall?

I'm not sure of the problem you're referring to. When I go into
practice, I'm always in the first pit stall (online in a different
matter). But during Happy Hour and Race, your stall is moved based on
how you qualified.

That's been fixed since N4.........at least.
